Product Knowledge 2017
On July 14th, 2017, the department of Food Technology, represented by Dave Mangindaan, performed enrichment/product knowledge to the part-time staffs and full-time staffs of the Marketing division, Binus University. It is strongly hoped that this product knowledge presentation will give a clear understanding of the essentials of the Food Technology.
Food Technology Binus University is a department that is studying and applying basic science (mathematics, physics, biology/microbiology, chemistry) and engineering to process foods in the industrial scale, not only limited to culinary scale/home-industry scale.
We also aim for internationalization, internships in global companies or premium national companies, or become entrepreneurs as well as high impact research and publication indexed by Scopus. These targets are coherent with the grand vision of Binus University, where 2 out of 3 graduates of Binus University are working in global companies, premium national companies, or become entrepreneurs. In order to achieve that vision, we are equipped with award-winning faculty members, such as Ingrid Surono and Dave Mangindaan, who are directing the Food Technology department as head and deputy head, respectively.
