In July 22-23, 2019, Department of Food Technology, in collaboration with SGS Indonesia, held a HACCP training & certification for BINUSIAN FOOD TECH 2020.

HACCP is an internationally recognized system for reducing the risk of safety hazards in food. This system requires that potential hazards are identified and controlled at specific points during the food production process. This training enriches the student’s knowledge of the HACCP system, how it works, and how the implementation in the food industry. After the training, the exam was conducted to certify the student’s knowledge of the HACCP system. The certificate obtained by the students will be the proof that students have the competencies in food safety.
